My dad has a 695 and it has been a good tractor. They are dry clutch tractors so if you intend to use it for heavy loader work expect to be putting a clutch in it now and then. Other than that his has 6 or 7k hours on it and other than oil changes and I think a front crankshaft seal its been trouble free. O also they have a hand applied parking brake and it is very easy to forget that it is applied and drive with it on, thus shredding the brakes and contaminating the hydraulic oil with brake linings.
well right now i run a 180 and 2 d17 allis chalmers tractors with dry clutches and can usually put about 3000 hours on between clutches so unless they got crappy clutches i should be ok
Found a smaller tractor on the local craigslist I hadn't noticed before. CaseIH 495 2wd with a Westendorf loader, 1900 hours, priced at $10500. Looks straight.
