50 years later

Fifty years ago this fall I went to the National FFA convention. We took the train. Late in the afternoon the train went through the Baker Valley in Oregon. I had read about Chandler Herefords and gosh I saw their place from the train. Looking out of the train at the vast expanses of the valley and all the cattle ranches I thought that this is where I want to live. Well, on Friday I think I found my place. Details and high finance to be worked out yet but if at all possible I will be living there this year.
