5 week old Hostein

My newborn Holstein is doing well. I am trying to train her now. She does not keep her harness on. I have a hard time walking her. How long does it take to train them to walk with you? We have a big fly problem this year. The newpaper says it is at epedemic levels. I cannot keep the house flys off her. any suggestions.
When can I put her out with the other cows. 3 months of age> Let me know. Thanks

Should take about a week. Just make sure she knows what the commands are and what she's supposed to do with each one. The harness for a cow is almost identical to what you would need for a single goat or horse and includes a brichen

Flies are bad everywhere this year because of all the rain.

Make sure you use fly spray on her as needed. I've been spraying my cows every three days.
