I am not a cattle person but my kids raise and show 4h steers. we weight in our steers yesterday and one of them was very small. normally wouldn't take a steer that small was that or a very large one. the steer is a Hereford he weights 525, he just got over coccosidiosis, we are feeding purina performance steer food and hay. we have 144 day till fair. is there any supplements we can add to his food to boost his gain, we need at least 4 pounds of gain a day, more would be better. thanks for any info
