Snapped this one yesterday. Anyone want to take a guess on what F1 cross he is??
He is our son's first 4-H steer, and we chose him more for his attitude than his looks, although he isn't too bad a steer. At achievement day he proved his attitude is pretty good. Rather than run off when he gets bored in the show ring he laid down  . But he behaved himself quite well other than that, and didn't drag the kid around the ring. Which was good, because we were a little worried since he doesn't always behave like that at home. In 2 weeks he is off to the regional fair, and since it is outdoors there I guess we will see just how co-operative he really is.
