4 H calf

This is a picture of my 12 year old daughters,5 1/2 month old calf that she has raised from a bottle. August 30th she will be taking him to the state farm to sell as young beef. She would like to hear your comments on him and any ideas on finishing him? Thanks


I know that Holsteins are considered dairy cows but we have limited farms up here to pick up calves. McKayla bought this calf herself and has been taking care of it everyday.

A well cared for calf. Holsteins can turn into good beef. If it were mine he would go on cracked corn with protein 14-15% and a mineral, vitamin and salt. And always free choice good quality hay.
