3020 Wheatland value

I have a 3020 wheatland gasser late model think its a 71, its a good running tractor but it is a true wheatland with no 3pt and other than adding one of those bolt on 3pts there is no way to add a 3 point without a considerable amount of work and expense. That lack of a 3pt really irritates me and I'm thinking of getting rid of it to get something with a 3 point. Anyone have an idea of value for this thing? I'm not finding a lot for the wheatlands other than there were only 711 gassers made which doesnt make it real rare does it? They make great loader tractors because of the heavier front end than their row crop counterparts but they are non adjustable. Other than that about all they are good for is pulling grain cart or a little hay work, they can be thirsty though.

Sounds like it might of been worth $4,550.

He might ought to have taken it as I don't believe it is worth $7500. Machinery prices for the most part are down and usually even less in the fall.

I have seen a lot of auctions before were the seller sets a high reserve, low starting price to get an ideal of worth/peak interest and then on the second go around do a "Buy it Now" usually a little higher than it went for. A lot of people just want bid on a reserve auctions and I am one of them, unless I want it real bad. It might bring a little more, but he will keep it for $7500 IMO.
