3 Year Old Hereford Bull (photos)

Help Support CattleToday:

I could see where they were sired by the bull, was just curious if they were yours or the originl bull breeder's calves?

If yours what is the story on the dams?

Yes, they are all calves born at my place in 2009 out of cows I own. All the calves, except for the young bull calf, are out of cows considered to be at the bottom of my herd. In fact, they were all used as recip cows this year. In short, this bull made a lot of improvement to the cows.

WichitaLineMan,

Here are a few photos of my bull's (D Advance 630) dam and sire.

Thanks for the photos. Just now saw them.

I like Deewalls cattle for the most part. I sure believe they "raise them right" for one thing. I especially love the rear quarter on their bulls. One thing that always nags me a little and I have never been to their place and seen their bulls in person so my opinion is bases solely on photos. On the side views the neck extension from the crest to the skull seems a little "long" for lack of a better word. Maybe I'm crazy.
