3 month old calf losing hair

We have a three month old calf that when we bought him he had fly strike in his hip which is better but he has begun to lose hair in his sides and legs any idea other wise seems healthy

I just read the NY Simmental Newsletter provided by Simme Valley - Jeanne. Two University professors (Nebraska and Illinois) are investigating whether a genetic defect is causing calves to be born w/o hair or to lose their hair after birth. No conclusions yet. I could not copy the information from the newsletter, must be protected. Sorry. I also do not feel comfortable forwarding the newsletter because it came to me from another private source.

We had one lose all the hair on its head, save for the ears, but it grew back.
He had a fever.
Actually I think he might have lost other smaller patches too, but the one that sticks out was his head.
Maybe I can find a pic of baldie.

That was a quicker locate than I thought it would be.

"Harry" is long gone now.
