Believed to be accurate, but not guaranteed.

If we had not been able to work a deal to buy back the Trackrunner bull (#17506127) we raised and sold to a commercial herd-- we would own lot 42.... Still kicking myself for not getting him just for an extra bull ...

hey guys-

I was up there at the Wye sale two weeks back....the cows and heifers look better and better these days and the sale was strong. The Churchhill, Brassard, and Lodge son's were consistently upstanding in my opinion, and the Churchill son's sold quite well. A few deals were to be had late in the sale, but mostly the bidding was pretty competitive. I have a good bit of Wye genetics in my pure bred program down here in South GA, and enjoy visiting the home herd and learning more and more about the history and breeding lines.

JDG, there is a fella that I have heard of from here in South Carolina by the last name of Sease that buys bulls at the Wye sale and I think that he shares ownership of some cows with Sipe and Oliver. Have you ever heard of him or know him?

Question for you Wye Cattle afficianoados.....

I am going to breed all four of my cows to a wye bull this year....

I have studied the semen list extensivily and corresponded with Eddie Draper Several times....

Just this week Lisa Yoash sent me color photos of the three bulls I am narrowed down to....

I solicit opinon and input on these three....

Bangle of Wye UMF 9480....because I loved the Franchester Bull in my youth and he is a son of Franchester and a stout deep quartered bull with lots of eye appeal to me...I have seen him at Wye close up...

Cedric of Wye UMF 8998 mostly becasue of the performance of his sons at Wye over the last few years

Faxton of Wye UMF 8819....heaviest of the three but also the shortest in hip ht at 51.5 inches....some of the best epds of any Wye bull and very good carcass numbers IMF 7.74 and REA 16.03....also it seems to me that I have read good things about his calves

I am having a difficult time selecting the one from these three....please don't throw others into the mix....but I would like any valid observations regarding these three or their progeny....
