my granddaughters truck is acting strange. I am in New Mexico, so i cant physically check it out. She says when she stops lets off the brake it revs slightly and moves forward. it does it a couple of times each time she stops. Any ideas. thanks

I don't have a clue, recon it could be a throttle sensor as letting off the brake makes it rev and that would make the auto trans move forward. The brake and throttle sensor probably have nothing to do with each other though.

Gas or diesel? Sounds like an electrical problem to me, something in the PCM sending a signal to increase engine RPM's.

Not related, but for what it's worth I've put a left rear caliper on every Dodge truck we own with the exception of one at this point. Just something to watch for.

thanks for the replies. I am home now and will look at it. But thats probably the blind leading the blind. 53 degrees when we left ruidoso, 99 in the metroplex
