    We have been breeding ours to our black maine bull and some of them have very little white. Just recently a young girl we sold a Pinz Angus cross heifer to breed her to a maine and the calf is sold black.

    They do AI dogs. Ask your vet if does it and check with the Golden Retriever club of america and they can help you out. Yes, AI puppies can be registered with the AKC a lot of show dogs are out of AI breedings.

    We always wean between 4-5 months old. It has always worked well for us.

    We had a show steer last year that we bought from someone else so he was not related to any of our cows and he would always nurse anyone who had milk and would let him. He never did stop so we could not let him out with any cows or heifers. He would try to nurse them even if they did not have milk.

    PHA seems to only in the maine and maine cross cattle and Heatseeker is a 1/2shorthorn and 1/2Chiangus so he does not have any maine in him.     Heatseeker should not be PHA. There's nothing in his pedigree that would indicate PHA and so far all of his son's have tested neg. He is TH positive.
