No info on this bull other than sound to breed. He seems a bit light for a 2 year old, to me anyway. But doesn't look terrible. He don't seem like an idiot in that panel pen there. I'll see if I can get some more info tmrw morning early...

2 weeks sure ain't premature in my book. I did have a dummy calf a couple years ago tho. I did same as u, except calf sucked a bottle of colostrum down. He just would not suck the cow and had given up. She had larger, shorter teats. He'd nose the teat right outta his way and couldn't get latched...

That naming thing really confuses me. Same name different number following the name??? That's why I was curious if the Sav America bull that everyone was super excited about was the one in this bulls ancestry. Hmmm

Here's some info on the 2 above bulls. Looks like one has SAV America in his breeding. Is that THE America bull everyone was so excited about a while back? I'm going early to get as much info as I can on him and see him in person. Absolutely has to be docile. I don't play those games. I respect...

My first thought was cow is a bit thin. (Of coarse she did just calve and her stuff is OUT instead of IN) Second thought was!!... sugar appeared to do a pretty good job! And wow! Shes not even in a chute!

Don't really NEED him til end of May That'll put everyone to calve starting in March. I don't do February calving. Got EXTREMELY LUCKY with some bought cows this year tho. This February was an exceptionally warm one.
