I have a td5050 and they are cheaply made. I have had to replace several clutch cables and the clutch so far. Tractor would probably be OK if your only going to use it a couple hours a week but not for full the use.

I have a 2wd td5050 and I have had several issues with it. First the clutch cable has broken twice and the pto cable once, It only has a 24 gallon fuel tank that can be used in less than a day of hay baling, and the front screen has to big of holes in it allowing trash to get on the a/c...

Check the sediment bowl. That is generally the problem on our 4430.

You better get some airbags because by the time you get done outfitting it the weight will add up. Check out Montezuma toolboxes, I love mine.

I have a new JD 630 that is 9.5' and with a 100hp tractor it will flat out cut some hay. In good smooth fields I can run 10 mph and it does a good job. I am very pleased.

I bought one back in march and I love it. The only problem I have had is its wider than our old 8 wheel H&S and has been in the fence twice already.

The difference is how they attach to the loader, either pin on or some style of quick attach.

Does anyone have any experience with one of these machines. I am planning on clearing some cutover land using a root rake. I have found one for 5k but it has no brakes.

I use them anytime I can. There customer service is pretty good, I ordered some sprayer nozzle bodies and they shipped the wrong ones. All I had to do was call them up and they sent the right ones.

Most 3 pt mowers have an adjustment of the lower lift links. You can move the mower side to side to line it up where you want it.

It has happened with both crabgrass and bermuda. It originally started doing it last year but only sporadically, but now it is all the time. I have tried slowing the rpms and increasing ground speed to no avail. It has on occasion had enough build up and fall behind the belts to wrap the bottom...

That was my first thought too until I got into some thick crabgrass yesterday.

I am having problems with hay building up between the belts on my 467. I bet I pulled half a square bale out from between them when I shut down yesterday. Anyone have any idea to the cause of this, I already tried measuring and relacing the belts.

I have never road in one of the new chevys, but I am more than impressed with my 2011 f-350. It pulls a load real good and doesn't ride like a tank when its empty.

I have a JD 467 with over 16k rolls on it and have had very few problems with it. As everyone has mentioned dealer service means alot. I image my next one will be a Vermeer because of that.
