    Stockpile ? for Fescue Fans

When you don't have snow issues, it make a lot of sense to feed hay in warm dry falls days and graze stockpile in the cold. Especially toxic fescue. Seems the fescue would get stronger too.

Over seeding ryegrass with cattle on pasture

If you are broadcasting just hook a chain drag, chain link fence section, limbs etc. with a chain behind. anything that gets a little dirt or residue over the ryegrass will help germination.

    Sell or hold?

Selling mine today. For me too many risks out there to wait and the prices are as good as they have been this summer. Going to the beach tomorrow for the first time this year. Here prices generally start down after labor day anyway.

Planting Wheat and Oats Without Disking

Me too after seeding. Put the disk pretty straight and hook a chain drag to the back of the disk. Put the smooth side of the drag down and it won't collect much residue. If i could figure out how to attach a 12 volt spinner to the front of the tractor i could do it all at once.

He stopped the procedure and made me check my pockets. Turns out i had a slow growing tumor in the small...

    Weaning Beef Calves

Fence line weaning is really very simple and easy with a little planning. If you don''t have a good fence to do it, build one. Build a small grass trap in a corner somewhere add a hot wire, if available, to both sides of a good woven wire fence, Feed the cows a little sweet feed from time to...

    Foreign land ownership

I think there is a difference between foreign ownership in general and Chinese ownership in particular. We should never forget they are a communist dictatorship and therefore they can never be fully trusted. They will make their people/businesses lose money for a while to destroy the...
