hot wire for me ,I only run one wire around my pastures with a 30 mile fencer, they learn real quick.

started my son with a 30/30 trappers model, fit him well far as length, then his uncle gave him a 410 Ga. for turkey hunting and now that's what he used deer hunting 3" shell. He told me it does'nt kit like the 30/30. What ever makes him comfortable and keeps him hunting :)
