Well, we loosened the clutch a bit and baled 100 bales or so. I couldn't find anything further up. She plugged a couple of times and doesn't seem to have ripped the keyway out of the cross-shaft, so I am hoping we are good. We welded up the old keyway and had a fresh one cut in for this...

Ya, but what suprised me is I read the part number out of the New Holland manual to the guy at CarQuest and he said they can't get New Holland Stuff. No way.... I said pretend the Part Number from the New Holland manual ia a Ford part number and it worked. It was only $20-$ 25 bucks saved...

We lost one last year overnight. Must have been a bearing that started a smoldering fire. Pretty disappointing thing to see in the morning. Baler was a right off and lost a tire, seat, lights and all the hoses. Could have been worse, but didn't seem like it could at the time. Frank

Well, I finally tested my creation. The wiring worked exactly as cfpinz described. I mounted and outdoor receptical box with a stainless faceplate for the switch and and a fuse into the side. Welded a bracket on the back and I can take it from one tractor to the next.... With wire it...
