    IME-Most cattle are happier and you will experience less stress if they are with another of their kind. if your area supports it, get two, and has been said, sell one and butcher one.

    Rainfall

    Had a squall line come thru early this morning about 4..didnt sound like heavy rain, but Ive got standing water everywhere.. Great timing, we were starting to need it again..pastures are greening up, wheatfields look good..I hope it keeps up.

    Andrews, I had a heeler who took a good knock to his head..split his face wide open..much to my husband's insistence HE could stich him up, I drove him to the vet's and they performed surgery to repair his face. They sent me home with one of those collars to keep him from scratching his face...
