Alright here is a crazy question: How long does hay keep? The cows would rather have the most recent cut and are turning their heads at the older hay.

I went to a local salebarn the other day and saw what looked like a couple of b/w calfs. they could have been crossed with something but they had the black noses and black ears. has anyone else seen these inthe southeast? i would love to find out if someone is beeding them in this area.
