    Overlord CP daughter with calf

Overlord CP daughter (half sister to Boomerang CP-for you Longhorn folks who know some of the bulls in the industry) with a seven month old heifer that we weaned Sunday afternoon. This was shot just before we penned her up from her mama. The heifer's horns are laying back-they'll twist just like...

    Another first calf heifer

First calf heifer with the bull calf she raised this year. I think she did a pretty good job. Same calf as above-we weaned him Sunday. He was having his last drink of milk in the photo before we penned him up.

    Weaners

A few that we have weaned in the last few weeks. This one has a little move navel flap than I care for-we'll see how that develops, her horns are slower growing also, but black cattle and black horns plus she has twist genetics wil usually be slowing in growing. Sold this little heifer...

A couple black and white bull calves and a nice little heifer out of a first calf heifer. I think they're pretty nice calves.....

    The cows come home.........

Took a couple random pics of some of the cows coming down from the hills late yesterday afternoon. And yeah before anyone points it out, I have weeds that I need to spray. We got dry in June and this place was brown and about an inch tall. Then it started to rain and hasn't really stopped. My...

    Young bull

BGF Troubador-Sept 2007-out of a Gunsmoke son and a Diamond W505 grand daughter who is also a Whelming King grand daughter. We think he's going to make a nice little bull. Will put him on some heifers either late fall or early spring.

    Talldog, this one's for you.........

Here's a couple pictures of the Shenandoah Conquest bull you asked about-he's broken the tips off both horns. Still has a nice set though. We used him on this herd five years ago; now we're running him back on them again.

    New arrival

Four year old brought this little bull calf down off the hill this morning. Second calf-this calf is out of the roan four year old bull in another post. He usually throws roans and spots, speckles etc. Haven't had many solids from him.

    Four year old

Four year old, didn't want to have his picture made, so again not the best shots but he is a fairly think, compact bull. Thowing some very roan and speckled calves. So far his calves look good. First year we've used him.
