ok, i see. I am thinking about a gate on one side where the head gate is, to turn out the bull, etc. if I dont want them in the head gate. dont know if a regular tubular fence gate would be strong enough.

Just curious why you would use the side gate instead of letting the bull exit through the open headgate. Your setup is much like mine except I don't have a side gate, although I have considered putting one on the side too.

My Bull was in my round bale feeder three times last winter! He always seems a little apprehensive about what I am going to do when I have to lift it so he can get out. He's not aggressive, mostly afraid then however I still have to be cautious.
