I started feeding hay in late June! I've never seen it so dry. The ground is just bare. Feel so sorry for some of the cattle in some areas they have nothing to eat and no shade from the heat.

I'm counting the days for my last two. I only have six breeding cows. We used to A.I. them but never had all of them bred. By far the bull does a better job for me.

Had our Vet up to our ranch yesterday. She did an ultrasound and to my surprise my head mama is 50 days pregnant! Lost the bet to my husband for a back massage!! I've seen all my other cows come into heat and be bred. This one totally took me for surprise.

She is in good condition. All my cows are very spoiled! I see them every day like clockwork. The bull is also a good indicator when one of them is in heat. Definitely will have the vet check her. Thanks!
