    Fishing Question

I dont know what kind of sturgeon you have, but if it is the white sturgeon I fished for in the columbia in Origon/Washington you need all the line you can get. I used 100lb test. Caught an 8 footer that drug my boat over a mile down river before I got her to the boat and got my hook back. Now...

    Rain soaked rubs

We have been getting rain here "thank the Lord". I just got a new rub and it got me thinking. How do you keep the rain from soaking the rub. In years past I reactivated it after every good soaking but thought that I would ask for your input. I even went so rar as to bend a piece of tin and made...

    Texas Longhorn

Mine love it when I push down trees, they not only attic the leaves, but they love the poison ivy as well. My vet said that he palpated one without gloves in his younger days and got poison ivy clear to his shoulder.

What happend to Vicky the vet

I miss her post, and her wisdom. Reading her last post a year and a half ago she said "with that Im done" I gues she ment it. From the context of the post it would seem that somn might have ran her off, I hope that is not the case. I would think she would have thicker skin than that and just...

    Pasture Ornaments vs Hamburger Hooves

I never have done it, but I cant see it being diferent than any other cow breed. Last year I put an angus bull on some of my longhorns and they came out black and poled, and they didnt take such a beating at the sale barn...

    Hunters Safety Class

I found my grandson a Condor o/u 20ga by Stoeger for $400 new. A nice little shotgun for a young shooter. I first bought an 1187 youth 20ga, what junk, it will not eject. The 4 H skeet couch said that he has seen that problem in more than one of thies. Google Stoeger and check it out. Good luck...

    Channel Cat

Diddo, I nail the head to a tree, gut them, slice through the skin around the head behind the gills like jo said and using the skinning pliars, pull the skin down to the tail, and you are good to go. Once that is done and they are batterd, and the grease is hot, call me. To know if the grease...

    New rifle

I don't understand. If the scope is mounted to the barrel, and the barrel containes the primer, powder, and projectile why does it matter that the barrel does not engage the frame by .001 of an inch after each shot. The only thing that I can see is the firing pin might not hit the primer at the...

    Pigs

I keep mine behind an electric fence, the white or orange visable type. Just watch your spacing because if a pig is hit in front of his eyes he will back up, but if he is hit behind the eyes he will run forword and take the fence out. Good luck, and GOD bless...

    New rifle

Best so far is 1/2" 3 shot at 50 yds. Burris 6X18 high lume. Not very impresive I know, but factory ammo  Never tried to group the front stuffer, just sighted it in well enough to kill at 100 yrds...
