doug was is hospital friday for surgery on his left leg [ artery by pass] he had a great , surgery went good we got home sunday. went down to charleston {2 hrs away} Thursday for pre op test. i was carrying a bail of hay thursday morn for the dogs in shed to keep them warm, while we were gone...

yes ist flying for me too, i dont hardly remember summer did we really have it? sure looking forward to spring.

i live about 2 miles from our farm, we have our camper up there do a lot of camping and farming, trinity was camping with us [her and amber ] when she was 3 months old, the company amber and matt work for moved them to saltville va, for 1 yr then lancaster ohio for a yr,last yr they got back...

we gave amber and matt 4 1/2 acres at the farm, they look what i called the 'woods cove' a 1 acre level field with woods wrapping around it with 2 openings to dive in to it. one of my fav places up there, you have a view of most of the farm and the hallow road,[ i guess we need to start calling...

i dont know but i hear they have internet in the pokie :compute: ... i just have nt been on that "end of town" farming lately :banana:

awaaa thanks peg, :heart: amanda is now Dr. amanda..she passed her national boards in may she graduates from OSU .... woo hoo we have a vet ! been a long haul for her, she loves going on farm calls, which is great not too many do that any more..

yeah im trying really hard not to... i do feel sorry for her... but i have enough to feed.. some ppl just dont get what it involves in taking care of large animals. we have horse auctions still i think but now coggins is cked now so itd be a vet bill and 30 days before...

well the diff between mules and horses.. i still have my daughters horse shes a pretty good short ear.they seem to be a lot more mellow, there is good and bad ones like every thing but i figure if you ran on to a bad it would be super bad. a mule is more sure footed because of the position...

heres a pic of my jack and i , we had a hog roast at the farm this summer . had about 86 ppl there. ol general came from home to the farm for the weekend to give the kids donkey rides.. i took him a couple laps before the kids rode. they all had a great time riding, he goes the county...
