Is a couple acre trap per 100 head adequate or should it be more?

Each trap will have adequate shade, water, and fresh hay. Guess what I am asking, is there any benefit to larger pens vs. smaller pens? Calves will be fed twice a day.

Thanks for the input. The land has good drainage with a natural slope. At first I was thinking of 1 acre pens per 100 head of lite weight calves but re-thinking 2-3 acre traps might better and easier on the calves.

Thanks for the response. The areas I would plant bermuda would be areas that get mowed and not baled. Main reason to plant bermuda is try to keep KR to a minimum and out of the coastal fields.
