    Seeding alfalfa after spraying

    I am thinking about spraying my hay ground with 2, 4-D after first cutting of hay to kill weeds and thin alfalfa stand. I wish to keep the stand of grass. Will I be successful in no-tilling alfalfa and clover into the remaining grass? Or, any suggestions about spraying etc to reach my goal?
