I gain around 300 bucks a head buy selling it direct to customers and only thing more it takes is callin people to sell it and then sending bills...plus the locker plant is closer than the sale barn...id say its worth 300 bucks a head to do it

I bought feed oats to plan when i needed a cover crop to get the new hay coming strong and they all came up had 1.5 acres and got 60 small squares off of it. Thats pretty good cause they are 80 lbs bales

You have that much hay sell it...help pay for hay equipment...with the drought in parts of the country probably can get good money

makes since even in your own operation...you can roundbale faster than small square thats a given been around it for along time...if rains comin and the hays ready you can get it up and inside quicker and then in the winter run it through bale processor and rebale it

Its tough with a bumber hitch cause a lot of weight back there the front end likes to float a donahue trailer (planter trailer) would be okay probably wouldnt beable to go 55 mph with it but itd get the job done. We had one that was a 24 footer for the planter they are built half way solid but...

i had one that got a hole in it I used parts of an old road sign and like silicon puddy stuff and then stuck the sign down over where the holes were and sealed the edges...i just bought a used one at auction 250 gallons solid...for 50 bucks and through a coat of galvanized paint on it to slow...
