    Fertilizer with Grazon next

Spray applications seem to work reasonably well on mustard after it has bolted, but I've yet to see anything close to a decent response from herbicide coated granular fertilizer at that point. I was in the Beaumont area two weeks ago and it looked like late May here, wish I had more time to...

    Fertilizer with Grazon next

2,4d works fairly well on wild mustard here locally if you hit it in Feb or early March, before it bolts. Once it bolts, it's pretty tough. Spreading fertilize coated with Grazon in late March to April with hopes of controlling mustard in our locality is a fairytale.

Calling all you good diesel mechanics

I've never owned a 6x20 series Deere, but had it in my mind that they were mechanical fuel injected engines (pump, line, nozzle). Is that not the case? Common rail, or ??? If they are mechanical, how does the tuner add hp to them? I'm familiar with turning up injection pumps, but that's...

    Press??

Looks like a press built for some special application, well built with very little use. Looks handy, for what I don't know. It's either bigger than it appears, or that's an awful small shop vac. Just for my curiosity, what's the size of the hex drive for the jack screw?

    Fertilizer with Grazon next

I've used it as well as Duracor applied to granular fertilizer. It all depends on what weeds you're trying to work on and what stage of growth they are in. Neither were effective on mustard (growth starts too early in the season), but they pretty much eradicated all of the clover from my...

    Can't catch a break

I love it! Is that a bullet hole in the back window?

    Weird question about bolts

It's likely your internal threads have worn due to the bolts loosening up and wiggling around. If the aforementioned washers don't do the job, I would pursue torqueing them as tight as I could and tacking the heads. If you can get a wrench/socket to the bolt head, I'd bet there's a way to get...

Field Navigator App - How to use it.

Yes, I did hear back from them within a day or so. I can't remember the solution to my problem, but it wasn't a big deal. I want to say it was related to the fact the Garmin was communicating with the tablet indirectly through the GPS Connector app, but I'm not 100% certain on that. It's a...

    Day off!

Where do you reckon the snow line is? 5000 feet? I'd love to see a pic of the mountain from the dead of summer when the majority of snow is gone, from the same frame for comparison.

    Trans products

The title was a bit concerning to me as well..... And your bottle of cetane booster is still in the back seat of my truck, looks like Big Bertha may have benefitted from it the other day!

    New side x side

We have to pay tax on the truck chassis at titling here in Va. Therefor, whenever we buy a new/used truck with a flatbed or any other type of aftermarket beds, I write a check for the truck and another for the bed. Also write out two Bill of Sales and only pay the 4.15% title tax on the chassis.

I built a set of doors for ours out of some scrap I had laying around, steel frame and diamond plate aluminum skin - actually turned out really nice. They're a game changer in the winter, and more so when it's raining. Literally takes 30 seconds to take them on and off. Never traded anything...

I like it. Serious question: Do they sell vehicles down under in any color other than white?

What was the original purpose of the building in the back left hand side of your first picture? Nice looking Rangers, my father in law has a tan one and I've grown to like it. Have you ever busted one of the glass windshields? We leave our plastic one in year round for the most part anymore...

    Hauling 10ft wide cutter?

I went to KY a few years back to look at two tractors, one of which had ring and pinion axles that were well past 8.5' wide. I went on the website of each state that I was passing through to see if I needed any special permits, but the best I could interpret was that being a private individual...

    Rotary cutter suggestions

Did the same person set both of them up? A friend of mine had a similar complaint about a 15' JD model, and when I ran it past my cousin he said those bush hogs need a front to rear rake when set up. Cousin has an HX10 I believe, and it cuts nicely.
