    Fertilizer with Grazon next

I tried it this year, on neighbors fields I cut hay off of. Has to be 200lbs/acre. They swung a round hoop under the conveyer drop. As pellets dropped into the buggy, Grazon liquid was sprayed onto the falling pellets. The granules seemed to be coated very well. I need to go check my results.

    Weird Dreams

I will go in spells. I dream of my public service days. None are good. Some people dream of past calls, some are made up calls. I just wish we all could dream of the good things we experienced.

    Patching an automatic waterer

I have welded, with good results, a gas solder gun. Melt along crack, then add some plastic to the top. Had to weld a plastic tractor fuel tank. Worked very well.

    Sound of Freedom

A movie that is not graphic, not nasty or just filthy. It does get the point across very well. It shows the human toll on the victim and the enforcement. Every single person needs to see.

    Post a random thought

Finally figured out how to get rid of all of my beef liver. Cook it, add rice and dog food. Makes a good warm meal for my dogs in this cold weather. I would never waste it by eating it..

    Southern US cold snap?

How are you fairing in the extreme cold? I know it is reaching pretty far south. Good here in Missouri, so far.

Submersible Electric Water Trough Heater for Cattle and Horses

Yes. Use a multimeter. Make sure you get good earth contact and one probe in the water. I checked mine before this cold snap. I have a backup in my waterer. I have more of a problem with them pulling it out and I find it laying on the ground, lol.

    Horned Cattle

My current butcher has all new facilities. I believe they are perfect. Maybe 12 15x15 pens. All under cover. All unloading and holding pens are 7 bar, 6 feet tall pipe. Easy slam latch/chained on concrete. No way to get animals together. Nice loading dock to pick up. They just started...

    Horned Cattle

I didn't want to high jack the other horned cattle post. This happened to me a couple of years ago. This was a butcher that I had used prior. Now out of business. They had crude unloading and holding pens. One side held 6-8 animals and the other about the same. One side was beef and one...

    Winter jackets

I have a neighbor who was burning leaves, with his worn Carhartt bibs. The duck fabric caught fire. It burned very quickly. 3rd degree burns to his legs. Luckily he was close to a creek with water. I used a lighter on my old, faded bibs. Less than a minute and they were fully engulfed...
