Do I Need a USDOT Number?

Simple answer is, no you do not.

    d3c 3

Depends on how you run it, somewhere around 2 1/2 gallons a hour.

    Cow sale today

Good price, 1700lb cows aren't the easiest to sell

    Let the sales begin

I'm like Dave, not sure what this has to do with cattle. But On another note I don't think he's doing to bad if he gets what he's asking.

    Feed question

That's exactly what I feed, except I use 30% of each of those and put 10% cottonseed hulls in.

    Prices,Prices,Prices

It's what I would do, first sale of the year will probably be the best time to sell in the next 4 or 5 months.

I agree with that, steady to soft through October and then head up a little.

    Hang on tight

Going back to the orginal topic. I have sold way to many 5wt calves for 60 and 80 cents not all that long ago, so today's 1.40$ and even down to a dollar or so if we get there doesn't bother me all that bad, but I never bought any 3000$ cows or got in to debt like some people have that we're...

Good heavy 4wts and light 5wts were back in to the low 1.50s today. I sold some late cut 880lb Herefords last week that I had bought and banded 6 weeks ago in the .90$ range weighing 800lbs, they brought 1.18$.

    Dozers

That new undercarriage on the 6r is in the range of 29,000$, something isn't right on that deal. There's good and bad deals everywhere, you need to figure out what you want to spend, what your going to be doing with it and then decide what models to look at, then you can do some looking and...

    40hp Komatsu

Good little machines, but there's a huge difference in the work a d20 or 21 will do compared to a d31 or that 450 size machine. The 40hp rigs are nice for shaping a yard up next to houses and other things where you just need something small for a tight spot. I like a cummins engine as much as...

    1978 931 Cat loader value

I actually never minded the 1 reverse that bad, for some reason it's not as bad as it seems like it would be. Of course I wouldn't try to make a living with one of these anyway, so speed isn't as much of a concern as getting a good reliable machine for the money.

    1978 931 Cat loader value

It will be 3 forward 1 reverse. 8,000$ to 10,000$, we've owned 4 931s, 2 78s, a 79 and a 88, not bad little machines. Make sure the steering clutches and brakes are working good, you can spend more getting them working than those machines can ever be worth. And you can be pretty sure unless it's...

    Circle W trailers

I'm guessing the same problem most aluminum trailers are known for, breaking apart and welds breaking.

    Local salebarn sold

I find the million dollar part hard to believe, but I can't say I know different.

    area of expertise

I'm not counting on him to make it. I only had 15,700lbs on, but When there that poor you never know how they will make a 6 1/2 hour trip. The load out man told me he hualed them in yesterday for the guy, said he had been going through some bad times and had planned on selling them 6 months ago...

I thought one of them was dead, I drug him off the trailer and he never moved, then he stood up and went to the hay and water.

I thought today you told me you was a expert in most everything?

where are you from based on how you talk

That's impressive, put me in Springfield, that's 60 miles away, but the closest town it would have come up with. The other 2 it had me in were in Kentucky and Tennessee, and that's pretty good because I'm in those states 2 or 3 days every week.

    sale barn shafted me

Can't say it any better than this.
