Have any of you used either of these? I have and one of the 2 are leaving some of my calves stiff legged and lethargic. Also a few cows. First time I used either one and definitely the last.

What did your vet give you? Anything for fever? The best thing I have used for calf scours is spectogard. It's actually for pigs but works great for calves. Never give electrolytes n place of milk.only as an addition. I have had luck with adding a raw egg in there bottle.

I have been feeding wet barley from beer for 6 yrs now. I pick it up in plastic 55 gal drums. We normally get about 15 a week and feed it free choice. I feed it year around and haven't had a bit of trouble with it. I feed it to a group of 25 pairs normally.

Do you all worm your baby calves when you worm the mama's? The calves are all under 2 months.Were using injectable wormer if that matters.

Seeing BS like this makes me really appreciate my sale barn in Eldorado kansas. No way they would ever sale two animals together weighing that. No excuse for that other than stupidity.
