    Looking at a NH653 in good condition owner said about 400 bales a year, new air bags, some bars new, orginal chains, $4900. Are these reliable balers without excess mantance. Would I be better to look for a belt baler, Im baling 30 acers for myself and feeding on my farm like large bales.

    I have about twenty cows have been keeping all heifers to grow to thirty to forty cows still using hereford bulls for now. verry easy to work with have had no calfing troubles. Have herd if I use Pied bull should be a terminal cross wonder why I shouldnt keep heifers maybe it was bad info?

    Green chop into wagon and dump into piles over plastic pipe cover pile with plastic seal around bottom and vacuum the air out. one pass over field most any weather would be nice inspring no need to dry. Search 'long cut vacuum silage lacerator" some info available.

    Twin heifer bred?

    I think I'll wait acouple months when shes market size and have her preg checked. I'm a little slow finishing them, I only feed grass & hay. Thanks for the comments!!!

    Twin heifer bred?

    I have a heifer with a twin brother, she is about 21 months old I noticed the bull tailing her today she was standing with her tail sticking out like she had been bred. I know hefiers with brothers most likley will not bred but do they come in heat and will a bull tag them.
