Wouldn't there be some kind of symptoms with that, she acts fine, did a search on it, didn't say much. Just have never seen anything similar to this, she has always been wide and deep but but not like this.

Concerned, have a cow that is due in about 10 days, in front of her udders she is so low to ground, solid, sign of twins? Never had any of thoses and really don't want them. Any ideas? She is huge and from hooks to pins now looks thin, before didn't. :help:

What should I breed with a short horn

Here is a thought, breed her to a shorthorn!
  13. R

    short horn

or easy keeper d/t not being fed much equals low weight? Who knows?
  14. R

    short horn

First , it's shorthorn, one word! They are usually docil and fairly calm. Yours sounds too light at that age, should be heavier so worming and groceries good idea. Unless you got lucky they can be lacking in the hind end but still butcher well if fed good. Have fun! We enjoy them!

    Aggressive 4-H steer

You also need to consider the other kids in the ring, one nasty steer can cause a lot of trouble for the other kids as well, ex; getting loose, hoping on other steers etc. Not a good idea, keep him home and eat him. Start fresh next year! I have seen other show kids get hurt by someone else's...
