    SLVL Beef 341E semen

Try Kodiak -- he was just cleared for Australia. Not homo either way, but produces sound, functional cattle with lots of rib, nice front ends and plenty of muscle. Also very docile. And take the Beef and run it over with your truck! :D

    Limousin Blood Line,s

Interesting replies to this post. The Rambler and First Down cattle have had a tremendous impact on the breed. Keeping in mind that the industry is finally headed toward a final-consumer-satisfaction mindset, I see Lodestar being a bull that goes down in history as helping take the breed into...

    Theories

My family used to have dairy cattle and my Dad has always been adamant that cows with longer tails (actual vertebrae, not hair) produce more milk. Also heard longer heads mean easier calving since that length is directly correlated to length from hooks to pins.

Canadian Beef Negatively Affecting US Markets

Oldtimer Are you kidding? "Much" higher levels than the United States? Maybe you need another math class, but there is not much difference between the US' 3 cases and Canada's 5 cases. Even Japan at, what are they now, 26 cases? is not "high" considering they test every animal. How many would...

The Canadian Limousin Association requires all ET and fullblood calves be PVed, as well as AI sires and donor cows (obviously). The farm I work for sire verifies every calf (AI & pasture exposed) for the integrity of our own pedigrees. I think most people would be surprised how many of their...
