It’s not a reflection. Haven’t had the vet out yet but been keeping an eye on her. Spots hasn’t gotten bigger. She still has eyesight. If I can get some hay up tomorrow I will try and get the vet out Thursday or Friday.

Hard to tell I the pics but this calf but the lower part of its eyes has a cloudy spot on both sides. Calf was born on the 14th out of a heifer. Anything I can do before I call the vet out? Calf can still see me and doesn’t seem to have impaired vision yet.

These calves are up quick. She was in labor and I had to leave for a dentist appointment. Less than two hrs later he is up and moving around good. Surprised I’m not getting more chrome with some of the Hereford crosses I have.

Second calf on the ground with the first calf hanging around also. Two bull calves so far. Well one steer and soon to be steer. Surprised this one didn’t have any white on it.

Kind of. Not charging much. Not having to fix a fence a few times a month is about worth it to me. Hoping one day I can just buy his place so keeping relations good for now.

After the bull came thru the fence a few more time I penned him up and loaded him on the trailer. Me and my neighbor took him to the sale barn. Bull brought about $2500 so he was happy. Just going to rotate my bull in with his cows now so we don’t keep having this problem.

This is actually a cow that was accidentally bred at 6 months old to my old bull. Thankfully she calved with no issues. Didn’t know she was bred until it was too late. It will probably be a shorter calf but should be thick.

There is a gate 20 ft down from there that he couldn’t figure out how to go thru.

First calf off of my gizmo bull. Not a big cow but I have about 5 more cows due to calve any time. Can’t wait to see how these calves grow out.

I don’t have a way to take her temp. Probably should invest in that. They both act normal and fine when standing. Only this sometimes when they are laying down.

They are on Dallis, Bahia, and Bermuda is the majority of it. I do have tall fescue but there isn’t much of it this time of year.

Yes they have access to some ponds. They usually don’t take a dip till 4-5 in the afternoon. Usually hang out in a bottom till about 2pm and start moving back towards the house and pond around then while still staying in the shade. It’s just weird how they do this only when laying down. They...
