    Selling our farm

I'm not saying it isn't done but, I can promise you that it's not on the paper work as being for taxes because an auditor would tear that up. At least income taxes, I don't know about property taxes, I use quickbooks and keep up with stuff throughout the year so I don't end up with a huge tax...

    Selling our farm

Still close to what family is left aroundhere and land prices!!! I know I could head to Iowa, Indiana, etc but, what worries me more than the climate learning curves is that you need to establish yourself at a bank and I know of someone who lived just across the county from me that paid cash...

    Selling our farm

We are selling our farm and moving our herd to PA. At least it appears so. Haven't found a place in PA yet but, we're looking and the people are ready to buy our farm. Happy and sad at the same time
  16. H

To what age do your herd bulls generally last?

You hav to look at a heifer's leg and hind quarter build to determine whether or not a big bull will hurt them. IMHO We have put 2000lb++ bulls in with 800 lb. heifers and not had any problems at all
