Believe it was patriot I bought this spring, red, white & blue. 1st roll we had trouble getting it to load properly, wound up cutting about a 1/4 of it off the roller in several different attempts. Rest of the roll went fine. 2nd roll went fine. 3rd roll I’m hoping to use next week.

Good ole army worms, we have an early breakout of them here in NE TX. I normally cut the fields to force them to leave but they caught me by surprise this time and wiped out a couple of fields. What do you recommend to spray on them that would kill but not have a grazing restriction? Thank...

The crabgrass i desire to get rid of is steadily taking over two of my Bermuda pastures , I wouldn't mind it a bit if it was straight crabgrass . Johnson Grass though its probably fine for the hay, I just have never liked it

In NE Texas we have a couple of 30-40 acre pastures that did not get sprayed after the first cut this season, nettle and a bit of johnson grass is popping up in what i hope will be a decent last cut in September (if we get rain) It is too much to spot spray in the two i am talking about...

We feed 4x5 bales ours are 800-900 lbs and i currently run 35 cows 7-8 heifers and a bull. Though we are steadily increasing but slowly. We bale here and feed here. Thanks for the info!

Newby question, are Hay Unrollers worth it? We typically set out 2-3 bales at a time for our small herd during the late fall-early spring, I hate all the waste as well as the damaged areas of the pasture from the wasted hay. Thanks for any advice or opinions! KT
