My ex wife had a Shih tzu that she groomed herself. She clipped him so close that she put him in some dogy pajamas. The poor dog moped around like he was sick; she almost took him to the vet. My mother thought he was embarrassed, they took off those pajamas and he was back to his happy go...

We deleted our 2018 chevy last summer and have never looked back. It was nice not having to buy that DEF when I went to Illinois last month. The cost to delete or replace the exhaust filter system was about the same.

    Lost dad today.

Dad was 88, would have been 89 on February 17. I really think his desire to be with mom was stronger than his desire to be with my sister and I. He felt like he was a burden, but he was not. I will never be the cowboy he was, by comparison I'm not much of a cowboy. He will be missed; losing...

    Lost dad today.

What a Birthday. This afternoon we lost dad. I and my sister were sitting in dad's room while I was talking to my son on the phone. I no more than got off the phone with Jonathan and dad breathed his last. It was like he was waiting for this. Two years ago we buried mom on my birthday...

Ratty underwear is a bit to intimate for me.

Dad talks about buying some stock form one sale barn and then haul them to Chicago overnight to sell them before their check would bounce.

Dec '24 Photo Contest, The Good Ole Days

From left to right; Uncle Duane, Uncle Roy and dad. Dad is the oldest of the the three. We lost Uncle Roy about 20 years ago. That photo was taken just before the three of them went to Brussels Belgium for the 1958 Worlds Fair. They were with the Rodeo, and it was broke before they even...

I wonder, if we all eat Z bugs, are they vegan?

    Dad in the ER

It sucks. Ended up having a friend feed for me Thursday and Friday. Tomorrow I haul my calves off to the sale barn; they sell on Tuesday.

    Dad in the ER

An update on dad. They moved him into a Rehab center the other day. He looked a little better yesterday when I seen him, although it had been a week when he was first in the hospital when I last saw him. I went to the doctor on Thursday, turns out I have bronchitis, so I'm on meds for that.

    Dad in the ER

The doctor asked us yesterday what we wanted them to do if he stopped breathing or his heart stopped. Talk about getting sucker punched in the gut. At first was not sure how to respond to that. I am sure dad would not want to be put on life support.

    Dad in the ER

Yesterday morning we had the ambulance come get dad. Dad calls it the dead wagon; that is what he called it several years ago when he got bucked off. They hauled him to the hospital in Rawlins, they were going let him go home that night. It was a compressed fracture. The next day they had...

    Rifles

That I don't know. I had pretty good luck with the Yellow Jackets as well. Those Thunder Bolts where just a waist of money. It has been a long time since I have bought any 22LR. The last shells I bought were CCI 22 shorts eight or nine years ago. I was trying to control some Prairie Dogs...

    Minimum wage

I think part of the problem is that they are taught in school to get a good education so they don't have to work, then the world smacks them down when they learn that are still going to have to work. They have planted unrealistic ideas in their heads.

    Rifles

30 years ago when I was shooting a lot of 22lr ammo I had pretty good luck with the Remington Viper, but the Remington thunderbolt was not very good. There were times I would wonder if the bullet even made it out the end of the barrel with the thunderbolt, nor was a very accurate. I preferred...
