It’s the escape release, rather than the squeeze. Do the new models have foot pedal releases? I appreciate the offer if they do…if you’re in that neighborhood 👍

I have-the rep then sent me a replacement for the squeeze release. Have re-contacted him to re-discuss. The plant is 6 hours away, a full refurb is aroun $500. Might be worth the drive (although it’s functional enough for now)

Tell me about Kelpie as a pet..

Shoot, you could have just found one on the side of the road in Killeen. Seems like everyone there has a husky or Mal or shepherd and there’s always posts of loose dogs. Glad you found one that will work for you though.

Ok, I know it’s old, but it (mostly) works and has been useful for the 6 years we’ve had it. Bought it used of course. Loading required lifting from above, which misaligned the side escape door a bit. There is a spring step release for the escape door, but the trip bar is lo longer under the...

    Health..

At least they’re getting her done while she’s a captive audience. Too many people won’t do the follow up to the Cologard-good for her for doing it. Prayers that they take care of any polyps and just find “maintenance issues” that can be dealt with. All in His hands.

    Pinkeye in beef calf

I would think the discomfort would cause decreased intake too, wouldn’t it? Happy cows are tasty cows…

    Went to my first auction

Castrating would not only make a more valuable steer, but would also take away the risk of having early bred heifers (additional added value).

    #2’s (or worse) for beef

In the price world that exists today, if you had a beef buyer specifically looking for more burger than steaks, would you give $600 for a Jersey/LH 9 mo old bull calf? 450 lbs, would still need to be steered, do something with horns, etc. anything in that weight range is $3-4/lb around here. Or...

    Blue-green algae

In this area, several blooms happened on local lakes last year, dogs were dropping dead within a few hours of being in those lakes. Amazing how fast the toxin works

    Blue-green algae

We tried it in stock tanks, it worked a little. Goldfish are doing a better job
