I have a new holland 354 it’s too small for what I’m needing. Going through 2 tons a day preconditioning calves. I want to get a vertical mixer but I need the hay to be able to get down that small to flow through bulk feeders

What’s the absolute smallest you can grind it and what are y’all using? I’m trying to find something I can grind hay down to 1” or smaller. Needs to flow through a bulk feeder in a heavy grain ration.

I plant them in my food plots. If your ground is hard packed at all I’d renovate before hand. They like loose soil to do well

I use it when I make my own feed. Was told I needed it because I use corn for the majority of my feed. I know a 50 lb bag of it is like $640

My cows will barely eat the 12:12 w&r but eat the 7.5 pretty good

1st and last bag of vitaferm I fed here cost $15 more than wind and rain. Funny how location affects price so much
