High selling Bred Heifer this auction was Lot 56 from Montvue Farm, Lenoir City, Tenn., going to Larry Cantrell, Seneca, S.C., for $4,000. This heifer was bred A.I. to Stalbum Kindle 10K. Lot 49, selling second high for $3,500 was bred A.I. to Brown Commitment S7206 and was purchased by Ron Conaway of Kingston, Tenn. Third top selling bred heifer was Lot 4 from Bull Hill Ranch, Gray Court, S.C. This bred heifer was A.l.'d to 5L Travelin' Express and was purchased by James McLean, Alma, Ga., for $2,900.

High selling Open Heifer was Lot 58, Montvue 8007 Pride T075 from Montvue Farm, Lenoir, Tenn., purchased by Clay Richardson, Glasgow, Ky. for $3,200. Selling second high was Lot 59, also from Montvue Farm, Montvue 8007 Dina T076 purchased by Mikell Davis, Starksville, Miss., for $2,900. Lot 66, MPH Lubbock 306 from Pine Hill Farm, Cleveland, Ala., was third high and sold to Kevin Forestier, Carencro, La., for $2,200.

High selling Bred Cows, Lots 18 and 39 each sold for $1,400. Lot 18 from Cundiff Farms, Nancy, Ky., was purchased by Joe Cluskey, Jasper, Ala. and Lot 39, Jarvis Red Angus, Bremen, Ky., was purchased by Alfred Palmer, Vinemont, Ala. Lots 17 and 38 each sold for $1,300. Lot 17, also from Cundiff Farms was purchased by Ron Morgan, Rincon, Ga. and Lot 38 from, also from Jarvis Farms was purchased by Jimmy Wham, Mountville, S.C.

High selling Cow/Calf Pair was Lots 11 & 11A, Collins Farm, Woodbury, Ga., selling for a total of $3,700. to Ron Lampley, Lewisburg, Tenn.. Second high selling Cow/Calf Pair was Lots 14 & 14A from Country Boy Farm, Edgefield, S.C. Lot 14 was purchased by Danny Winchester, Six Mile, S.C. for $2,100 and 14A was purchased by Mark Scott, Chatsworth, Ga., for $800. Third high selling Cow/Calf Pair was Lots 10 &10A also from Collins Farm. Lot 10 was purchased by Joe McCluskey, Jasper, Ala., for $$1,750 and Lot 10A was purchased by Ron Conaway, Kingston, Tenn., for $900.

High selling Bull, Lot 91, MRCR League Leader 603, Mercer Farm, Ten Mile, Tenn., was purchased by Jim Shankle, Cottage Grove, Tenn. for $2,900. Lot 88, AGF M434 ROB, Hickory Hills Red Angus, Sterling, Ill., was second high selling to Wil Sonnier, Scott, La., for $2,100. $2,050 was the purchase price for the third high selling bull, Lot 93, Shady's Chateau 682, Shady Bottom Ranch, Crossville, Tenn., purchased by Ron Morgan, Rincon, Ga.

A heifer was donated by Collins Farm with proceeds going to SERRA.

High volume buyers were Joe McCluskey, Wil Sonnier, Alfred Palmer and Kevin Forestier. In all, cattle sold into 11 states including: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

Auctioneer was Kyle Gilchrist, Gilchrist Auction Company. The auction was managed by Amy and Kyle Gilchrist of Douds, Iowa.
