    Corral panel pin sizes

Thanks. I may take the rebar approach that way I know they'll be long enough

    Corral panel pin sizes

Can someone tell me the approximate diameter and length of the pins used on standard duty corral panels? I've got to set up some panels this afternoon and , as usual, the panels are there but the pins are not and when I asked about the where a bouts I got a "hmmm, damn if I know. I havn't seen...

Wow! He's up to 3 now? I guess it's been longer then I thought since I was here last

    Building corners

Thanks everybody. I'll have to look closer into the floating brace. Digging 1 hole instead of 3 sure is enticing

    Building corners

I am about to rebuild a section of fence and wanted some advice from the more experienced. I will have to build a couple of corners and wanted to see how you folks do it. These will be 90 degree corners with a 5 strand barb wire fence and an electric fence. Is there a better way then H braces or...

    Check out my new cowgirl!

Thanks again everybody. They seem to think she has Johndis (I did, my wife did, and our first daughter did so why not?) and may have to stay another day. We will have to go home and come back tomorrow. Not a huge deal but we're still not real excited about it.

    Check out my new cowgirl!

I guess I must be a low birth weight sire. Our first was 5 lbs 15 oz, when she got here. Thanks everybody for the congratulations

    Check out my new cowgirl!

Cora Mae Hendrix was born on January 7 at 2:43 pm. She weighed 5 lbs 8 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. She had to spend a little while in the special observation nursery due to some labored breathing but she is fine and back in mama and daddys room now. Mama is also doing great!

    Best Heifers to Buy

I like the Braford and Brangus suggestions as well. I have a Braford cow here and an Angus bull. Her calves take a little hit but they are good, strong, healthy calves so I take the hit because I don't have to worry about her or the calves. I don't have experience with much other then Angus...

    Bully Cows

How long have the bullys been in your herd? If they are new, they may still be trying to sort out their place and thus pushing. Like previously stated, alphas are alphas and they're will always be alphas. BTW, welcome to the forum

When is your next blizzard or monsoon expected?

    sweep tub and alley

I agree with making your own for a few reasons. 1) it's cheaper 2) you can make it fit your existing barn, pins, ground, etc.... 3) if you have to change something to make it work, you're not cutting up several thousand dollars worth of equipment

    most profitable?

Around here (and I guess most everywhere else) price goes down as pounds go up. A 500 lbs calf will bring about the same as a 300 lbs calf. The question is how much did you spend getting that extra 200 lbs?
