I vote B and C.
No bekaert around here. How does it compare to stay tuff? I’ve put in around 5 miles of the stay tuff14 G hightensle this year, love the stuff. I’ve had to twist a few guys arms to let me use it, But everyone of them was satisfied with it. That’s all they will let me use now.
Cereal rye is hard to beat here. I will fly it into soybeans once the leaves start to get some color to them.
Flying some into corn this fall also, typically I would still into corn stalks but everything was late this year
Nothing likes to fight more than an angus bull. Finaly got rid of them all and my problems have all but went away.
Just pulled 16 high percentage gelbvieh bulls off cows 3 weeks ago. Put them all together and after a little pushing and a lot of “trash talk” they are all getting along well
I hadn’t heard this. Are they going to start making some kind of 14 gauge high tensile barb?
I’ve gotten a lot of guys started on the stay tuff 14 gauge high tensile here. Love the stiff
Parmak 12 volt is the best and most powerful you will find for anywhere near the price. I have a dozen and they work great. Some of mine are running 4-5 miles of fence and shocking at 7.5-8 kv. Fence needs to be somewjat clean
I have 2 range masters and gotten along well with them. Pretty powerful, rated at 6.6 jol. With good moisture and a clean fence mine will shock at at 10-11kv. Been nailed by it several times, you won’t forget it. I also have close to a dozen 12volt solar parmak. Have very good luck with them...
A balancer cow made up of 75% gelbvieh and 25% angus with a large frame terminal type purebred sim is about the best thing I can find. A touch of ear on the cows would be even better.
Sit down and do the math. By the time you feed that bull pretty hard for a year, and have to deal with him you won’t be any money ahead.
There are decent angus bulls for $2000-2500 all over the place.
I know it would be hard to justify a bull for that many cows, but to think you can buy a...
I assume you have angus based cows? I would strongly suggest cross breeding. A high growth, big frame simi bull on some good angus cows will give you some monster calves. I have used NLC upgrade for several years on my terminal type cows with good results.
This year I will be using TJ...
