I am now a dealer for May Mfg round bale trailers. I am stocking the single row inline, single dump in a 36' and 42'. I am also looking at stocking a 36' 2 row, 2-10k axles, electric dump from the cab.
Does any one have experience with May or the hay trailers above in general?
thx
mastertrack st22575r15 12pr load range f, so far they seem to perform good. Made in China....some say production maybe slowed down by the corona virus now.
I will find out tomorrow and get the name. We are still new into using the brand. On was a co=unstrion campny, the other was oilfield retailed of tire but have had en complaints
You can put 14ply load range G on that trailer without issues. The rims will hold the Load Range G tires fine. If it is a Low Profile trailer you will want to stick with a 235/80/r16. The 235/85/r16 will rub on a Low Pro trailer. We sell the Hercules brand tires with out much issues. Out of the...
Is anyone here running the double row 14 bale trailers? If so what brand? I have been looking for one as no one in my area carries these large capacity hay bale trailers. In Oklahoma I have been looking at May and Go Bob. In Kansas I have been looking at Denning Machine and Better Built. I want...
I made it back, pretty much an uneventful trip. The old Dodge 2500 caught a little more wind than the Titan I hauled up. I think everyone will be happy to know I started out driving the speed limited. At about Wichita I realized I left my cell phone back at my sons home and the whole speed...
Mainly flat land. Only hills on this trip were some in Oklahoma. Yes many disagree with what speed I tow at and I am ok with that. I have been pulling trailers professionally for 25 plus years, ran 18 wheeler in the triple digits for many a mile. What bothers me is those that pull trailers at 60...
I run 14 ply load range V on trailer. I change tires every 2 years on this trailer as it see a lot of road time. These tires are rotated to my cattle trailer etc
I checked the truck computer for this trip earlier when unloading the truck I brought up and loading his 96’ Dodge 2500. Our trip on the way home should provide better MPG as I will not be on a time crunch and hauling azz.
Miles were 926.4
Hours were 13.04
MPG: 8.7
My average trip speed was...
We left Corpus 1pm Friday, full of fuel with my spare truck loaded on the GN. The new fuel tank worked great. I did have to stop north of Georgetown for my wife to make a bathroom pit stop. She ran in did her thing and we were back on the road. My next stop was somewhere around Ardmore,OK we...
I did that on my Dodges in the Hot shot business. I would use a 90 gallon bed tank but they pulled trailers 99 percent of the time so bed room generally was not that big of an issue. I had some Cab/Chassis trucks with 11' bed and I hung a 50 gallon tank under the bed and used a electric fuel...
I prepaid 100.00 at the register and then pumped. Most of the PATP here are 75.00 also and TBH I rarely PATP anymore with all the skimmers and stuff. I try my best to prepay and fill up these days
My biggest complaint on the truck is the 26 gallon fuel tank. Not really a big deal if you do not tow much or tow very far and I knew the tanks size going in. I found a in bed tank that was 9" depth, 18.5" tall and 59.5" wide. So it did not take up much room. for cargo. It is a 37 gallon tank, I...
