Green Springs Performance Tested Bull Sale

What I noticed was that the data didn't mean anything. Some bulls with poor data brought more than bulls with good data. Overall, tough sale.

    Show Heifer Prospect (Updated Pic)

clean fronted, good topline, has some depth, I don't see to much with her legs, could be the way she is set up. I would like to see a butt shot, just for width. What is her breeding? Must be a good bull and cow.

    Ford 7710 Tractor

Good tractor. Not to big, not to small. Light in the rear end. While unloading a trailer of hay, had to keep a bale on the back. Having a little problem starting. Sometimes when you turn the key, nothing. But turn it a few more times and it will start. Don't know. Over all good.

Tornadoes, Fires, etc.....is everyone staying safe?

Spoke with a friend down in the corner of the state and they got softball size hail. Cattle being patched up from all of the flying debris. They are happy, still have a roof over their heads.

Need some advice on holding my show steers weight...

You could turn him out onto the pasture. Then later bring him in and feed him.

    Lim Flex

I believe that would be a very wise choice. My market has been to supply the Lim bulls to put on the angus cows and it's doing pretty good. Once you have done this here is another market to look at, Strauss Veal. They are buying and paying over market price for Lims and 50 percent Lims. What...
