Yes, I have wasp nest in my barrel mineral feeders. I spray them. Usually I only have trouble when I rotate pastures and the cows or not using the feeder for a few days. My cows eat a lot of mineral so I'm putting mineral in them on a regular basis.

Seems when I have twins they are a little earlier than their due date. Good looking cow. You must be experienced with twins since you penned them up, I think it is always good to pen them until they get a few weeks old.

Me too. But if that's the case I would just go back with straight Angus. I have gone away from the ear more and more the last few years.

IMO the Holstein will hurt the meat more than the Brangus. But your right to much ear and the feedlot guy's won't like them, but a little ear say 1/4 or so doesn't hurt them much.

What part of the state are you in? The further south the more the brangus would help IMO. A little ear will help them take the heat.
