My boss lets me borrow one of his heifers to show every year. I do all the work, and pay the trucking to shows and he doesn't ask for anything in return. I asked him if he would like anything, but he said getting his herd name out there is good enough for him.

Ive seen cows in labour for 12 hours and still deliver a live healthy calf. Id say keep an eye on her from a distance atleast until the water breaks... as hard as we all know that is.

Weather cant make up its mind here. We got ice, then freezing rain, then warm and rain, an hour later its snowing enough to have to clear parking lots.. Today we started with snow, ice pellets and now its 36 and raining!!! I agree Betty it has been a LONG winter.
