    blue heeler or australian sheperd?

My Davey is a Australian Shepherd Heeler mix. He's got some miniature in pedigree. Mostly the Black and White color of the Shepherd and some tan dots pointed ears and stature of the Heeler. Weighs right at 50 lbs. He helps me numerous times to move them from field to field and yes out of a fresh...

    New Bull-EPD Questions

It sure can be. Told dad after your parents left that your dad looked familiar from somewhere but not sure where. Enjoyed meeting them and knew who was gonna get which bull when your mom said she liked the one with the black around the eyes. The one you got was my favorite but all three are good...

    New Bull-EPD Questions

Cool there's the guy I raised and purchased by a Cattle Today member that's awesome. I'm not the best at explaining or knowing everything about the epd's but I do my best. Have low accuracy because of the small sample size of progeny out there being from my herd bull and cow that only has one...

    Bale Spears

I refuse to buy anything Tarter, it's just weak junk with pretty paint. Dad will sneak off and bring some of that crap back to the farm, lol.

Thank You TC! I thought the calf might need a little penicillin for navel so they're in the lot with cow 15 and the twins. Photo bomber is one of the twins, he's happy another calf was in the lot to play with or maybe just there being another milk bar in the lot, lol. Them twins are growing like...

Thanks. Yes I hope to get 4 or 5 more calves. I shoot to try and keep our cows till around 15. Several get culled for one thing or another and don't make it. A few do well enough and stay a little longer. She's on pace. I'll keep you in mind. A lot of time I run out of room keeping bulls and...

Someone here might remember me posting my three red or orange heifers I named after orange sodas years back. One after the orange soda Sunkist, Minute Maid, and Crush. They'll be 10 - 11 years old sometime in 2024. All three still in the herd. Ms. Crush has probably taken over Queen status in...

Got a late check on the cattle this evening, at least I have them close by. My first glance at them and I zeroed in on a black cow with a string of afterbirth hanging. At that moment then I zeroed in on 2 wet babies wandering about her and another nearby cow or two looking for the milk bag. Both...
