If you are worried about him not getting enough milk from mama, Give him 1/4 to 1/2 bottle and see how he does. Sometimes they need a little help.

The Lithuanian farmer is raising beautiful cattle well taken care of and he is proud of them. Why would you make such a derogatory comment about this breed? It is very obnoxious!

A sick animal deserves to be treated what ever it takes to help bring it back to good health. After all this heifer probably went through hell trying to have the calf. Do what is right.

I don't know a lot about the pond weed(pond grass) other than it thrives in wet soil or wet sand. It started in a hay field that had a sandy area and was impossible to get rid of. I spray around my pond which is very sandy and keep it under control.

Anyone who abuses, starves etc. any animal should have, the same done to them, only alot worse!!! That person needs to be punished!

In my experience, mix a partial bottle for the heifer, to get her excited to nurse, as you take the bottle away she should go to the cow to nurse,being she is still hungry. This has always worked for me. You may need to do it a few times.

Geez! You all are depressing, Sounds like all of you have always been hard working people. I have always worked hard, from a little girl. Worked with my grandpa, thrown hay bales, broke calves, pulled calves, worked hard and proud of it. I too have arthritis. people who work hard get broke down...
