I would definitely get some meds in that calf. Pneumonia can kill a calf quick. One day fine and the next day dead. Those pictures really make me think that there is really some serious respiratory issues. Let us know the outcome.
sounds like botulism. If something dead was in the feed or even if it had been something dead in the hay it could have affected the whole herd. Seems like a large number to have died to not have been related to that.

i had the same thing here.Was on the eyes just like that. I had 6 calves in a lot and when 1 got it they all got it. At first I cornered each one, took a paintbrush and brushed on iodine. It went away, but honestly I don't think the iodine done anything. Actually I think it was a waste of time...
